Introduction of Higher-speed HF RFID Card INLAY (Prelam) Sheet Production Line for Our Customers

Speed: 6000-7000 cards per hour.

INLAY sheet layout: 3×8 or 4×8 or customized


CHIP SIZE: 5*8mm COB chip or chips in the tape.


INLAY Frequency: 13.56MHZ+


General Production Steps of HF RFID Card INLAY

Sheet with YL Machines


Step 1: Design and confirm the card INLAY sheet specification as per the customer requirements, make the drawing of the antenna in AUTOCAD software in the computer or antenna embedding machine, and measure the sample inlay card frequency

Step 2: Start massive production, and first of all punching side location holes (Usually 2 holes) and chip fixing holes (like 24 holes in 3×8 layout) in the INLAY middle sheet in one machine.

INLAY Sheet Hole Puncher YHP-A+, 1 set (speed: 800+ sheets per hour)

Step 3: Automatically embed or implant the designed copper wire antenna onto INLAY middle sheet in a precise way. Usually there are three sheets to be laminated into one INLAY sheet.


Machine model needed:

Contactless Card Antenna Embedding Machine YAE-416 (16 embedding heads/4 work tables for sheet layout 3×8,4×8,6×8 or 7×8, if the layout is 5*5, we will use YAE-410 with 5 heads for each worktable)

Machine quantity needed:

Step 4: Automatically apply the green glue tape onto the chip holes in INLAY middle sheet for sticking the chips temporarily.

Machine Speed: 600+ sheets per hour

Step 5: Automatically punch the contactless chip module tape into single chip pieces. (Note: It is not needed if only COB chips are used)


Machine Model needed: Contactless IC Module Cutter YMC-2 (2 stations-1 for MOA4 or MOA2 big chip punch, and another for MOA8 small chip punch)

Step 6: Automatically pick and place each single chip into chip fixing holes in the INLAY middle sheet in a faster and precise way.

Step 7: Bonding or welding the antenna leads onto the chip edges automatically.


Machine model needed: Contactless Card Chip Bonding Machine YCB-18 (8 bonding heads for layout 3×8,4×8, 6×8 or 7×8, if the layout is 5*5, we will use YCB-15 with 5 bonding head )

Step 8: Check the conductivity of the bonded circuit units after bonding process to see whether all the units are all good or not.

Step 9: Re-bond the bad unit (if bonding failure) as per the checking result in step 9, and test again after rebonding. If still not good, mark it with marker pen.
